Mike Beecher
Michael Beecher is the entrepreneurial leader of Blur MediaWorks, Inc., as principal investor and strategist. An Emmy-award winning broadcast journalist with reporting experience in print, radio, and television, Beecher managed television newsrooms for NBC and CBS affiliates in Iowa and Missouri for twenty-five years. He started Beecher Public Relations in 2004 in Des Moines after stints at WHO-TV, Des Moines, KWWL-TV, Waterloo, and KTIV-TV, Sioux City, as well as KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
A native of Waterloo, Iowa, Beecher resides in West Des Moines, Iowa, where he is active in a number of non-profit ventures dealing with social justice issues. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and a graduate degree from Loyola University/New Orleans. “Blur MediaWorks is the creation of friends with a common affection for visual storytelling: a company that offers high quality content and video products to the world”.
